Responsible for all editorial staff work for production of MWR Publicity and Marketing Publications. Oversee the solicitation of the MWR Division Heads and branch managers for information input for all publications. Ensure the timely development, layout, writing, editing, proofing, printing and distribution of all MWR publications and advertisements. Responsible for overseeing, as well as the production of marketing campaigns from inception to completion. This includes the study and determination of the local marketing base and resources to use within the base. Development of marketing strategy based on Navy and local MWR regulations, leisure needs results, in-house generated marketing results, along with the branch manager needs. Oversee the production of graphic arts services to MWR facilities, such as but not limited to: Flyers, posters, signs, banners, print media, photography, and in some cases video promotional vehicles which will be used to promote the department. Responsible for the design, composition, printing and distribution of all marketing materials is accomplished in a professional looking and timely manner. Maintain close contact with base Public Affairs Office, Editor of all base papers and local printing and distributing contractors. Markets, sell, and services air show cash sponsorship, as air show merchandise-in-kind sponsorships. Market and sell exhibit area space. Identify and coordinate space requirements with exhibitors and NAS JRB Fort Worth Personnel. Responsible for contract proposal and negotiation of possible vendors for commercial sponsorship to be used through the MWR Department of programs and Special Events. Provide coordination and marketing control for all the overall design of an ongoing indoctrination system that includes on-site briefing to the military personnel reporting to the component and tenant commands supported by the NAS JRB Fort Worth composite recreation fund. Provides visibility for N9 programs and disseminates information by making presentations to individuals or groups regarding N9 facilities, services, programs and special events available for commercial sponsorships. Represents the Marketing/Sponsorship office on special event planning committees. Conducts special meetings with appropriate staff members to ensure deadlines, sponsorship and advertising fulfillment, equipment, materials, and departmental commitments are being met for each event. Develop and implement event promotional plans including initiation of graphic work orders, advertising placement, and management of in-kind advertising, development of news releases and distribution of publicity materials. Promotes and administers creative marketing and commercial sponsorship campaigns. Served as a Government Purchase Card holder for Joint Region Marians, J94 Department. Occasionally attend J94 leadership meetings in the absence of the Marketing Specialist. Prepare quarterly and annual budget and financial reports for CSA to J94 leadership.
