SVP of Global Distribution and Logistics

●Improved Global Importation and Customs Clearance by correcting the valuation and documentation process, thus saving money on detentions and fees and releasing over 70 containers valued with over $ 9 M in sellable inventory.

●Renegotiated Ocean contracts to take advantage of the best pricing and market conditions. Reducing over-ocean rates by more than 50%, reducing local drayage costs, and significantly improving service.

●Greatly reduced domestic transportation costs by improving routes to eliminate waste and introducing a new TMS system to ensure best pricing in all modes and enhanced reporting.

●Significantly improved service of two regional 4PLs. Established SFP programs and brought them to compliant levels by going on-site and working directly with the teams there.

●Performed a site survey and established a 3rd node in Dallas with a new 4PL.

●Consolidated NEO distribution and warehousing network from five D.C.s to three, reducing the footprint by over 100,000 sq. ft. and interplant transportation by over $10,000 a week.

●Managed renovation of a 600,000-square-foot D.C. in Warren, OH, with 25% efficiency improvement.

●Installed a narrow aisle racking system that enabled us to hold an additional 1,000 pallets and improved our picking efficiency by 75%. We went from 4 pickers to one.

●Installed an inline shrink-wrapping system that consolidated our wrapping stations from two to one, improved efficiencies by 30%, and significantly reduced damage to our product by improved engineered controls.

●Installed an on-site fuel station that enabled us to wholesale purchase fuel at an average 20% savings.

●Purchased packing software for better cube utilization on our trailers. Realized a 30% improvement, reduced the number of shuttles needed daily, and provided better cube utilization in the warehouse.

●Led MRB team to reduce the scrap and waste generated from production. Result: 60% reduction in scrap

●Created a new Logistics service in Georgia, including a new component warehouse, finished goods D.C., and transportation network supporting a new manufacturing plant. This enabled us to source more components regionally, and ship finished goods directly, thus saving roughly $2 million.

●Help lead our Covid Response Team, which safely kept operations open during the pandemic.

●Due to resource limitations, assigned to lead a design team to bring a major product launch to Amazon. We successfully got it to market and generated $4 million in sales.

●Reworked 260,000 finished goods manufactured with component shortages, saving over $14,000,000 in sales.
