The Smart Project, which generates nominally 100 MW of net power output with heating and cooling export to the campus. The two-on-one (2x1) combined cycle CHP/DHC plant utilizes 2 Siemens SGT-700 -32MW combustion turbine generators (CTGs) powered by Natural Gas, 2 Victory Energy Operations heat recovery steam generation (HRSGs) (Single Pressure, w/SCR & w/Duct Burner System, and a single Siemens STT-700 (43MW) steam turbine generator (STG)(extraction condensing). All major equipment will be located inside a building along the district heating and chilling plant equipment. A 15kV power connection to an OSU Substation forms the connection to the university power distribution arrangement.

Instrumentation I&C Engineer (Hybrid Remote for client in Devens, MA - March 2022 – May 2022

• Design, implementation, testing, installation, and commissioning of the I&C for the fluid systems of SPARC

• Engineering process, installation of sensors, measuring instrumentation. Machine operations Plasma control.

Responsibilities:

1. Design of the I&C for multiple fluid systems of the SPARC by production of the required design deliverables according to the SPARC design process.

2. Collaboration with lead engineers and other key stakeholders to ensure functions, designs and interfaces are implemented according to SPARC requirements.
