PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Project Manager Willow Cove Properties Ltd., Brandon, MB (2008-Ongoing)

Consulted with clients, stakeholders, and design and construction professionals to plan and implement subdivision from proposal to market. Managed extensive consultations with all three levels of government including the Municipality of Yellowhead, the South Riding Planning District of Manitoba, Federal Fisheries and Oceans and Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation.

Utilized technical expertise in project planning and design, from physical plan coordinating environmental and civil engineers, preliminary municipal approval, multiple public stakeholder hearings, and subsequent stages up to and including marketing and sale of individual lots to the public.

Marketing included creating of design standards incorporated into land use restrictions in Development Agreement negotiated between Willow Cove and the Municipality and binding on purchasers.

Coordinating public use construction through to successful completion including a public reserve, utilities, roadways, parking facilities and a marina in compliance with Fisheries and Oceans ensuring environmental protection of the riparian zone.

Built and maintained strong client relationships, gaining trust and effectively representing clients' best interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Effectively prioritized tasks and managed competing deadlines, ensuring project milestones were met.

Demonstrated excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills to effectively convey project updates, proposals, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Leveraged strong organizational and leadership skills to drive project success and foster collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Employed MS365 and other relevant software tools to enhance project planning, communication, and documentation.

EDUCATION:

Master of Architecture

Qualifications:

University degree in Construction Management, or equivalent academic experience.

3 years of experience in project management or coordination.

Strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage project teams and drive project success.

Proven ability to resolve client, project, and technical challenges, ensuring project outcomes align with client goals.

Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills to effectively convey project updates and recommendations to stakeholders.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS365 and other relevant software tools.

Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet tight deadlines.
