ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PIPING INSPECTOR

Ensure quality of inspected items meet project requirements and standards

Review documents and drawings as per specification

Knowledge / experience about Piping Isometrics, P&ID

Inspection, review of mill certificates, material verification

Inspection of Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Valves, nipples, plate tubes as per respective materials specifications, codes, standards and client's specifications

Monitor and record welding parameter during welding as per WPS

Witness of fit up inspection in accordance to follow the ITP procedure.

Witness Test package line check inspection, Pneumatic Testing, Hydro Test, hot oil flushing, Chemical cleaning, Flood test & reinstatement, and final MC walk down .

Review test pack and all inspection reports for final approval.

Inspection documents submit to client approval.

PIPING SUPERVISOR

Assign and control the manpower according to the site requirement for installation various activities

(Pipe spool installation, Fitting installation, Instrumentation items installation, and Supports installation).

Monitoring of Piping Daily Production activities (Welding, Fit-up, Pipe Spools fabrication and Erection, Production manpower).

Conduct the Pre-Job meeting before for every activity with Sub Contractors to reduce the rework.

Coordination of fabrication, fit-up and weld visual inspection, installation of pipelines, and verification of tapping activities along with the client.

Coordination of Pre- punch works, line checking with test packages, punch clearing and hydro testing works along with the client.

Assigned as area site piping supervisor for contractor’s piping erection/installation and progress monitoring, spools quantity and field welding dia inch accumulation progress during piping installation to its mechanical completion stage.

Assigned for test package review, line-check that piping installation was completely correspond from project procedure and specification and offers to client for approval prior to acceptance for all system lines that are intended for visual, pressure testing and to meet required target schedule prior to hand-over.

Conduct Pre Commissioning Job for Air Blowing, Execution and Inspection as per project requirements.

Ensure safety training is conducted

Direct and assign crafts workers executing industrial construction projects and turnarounds in oil & gas refineries and petrochemical facilities while a high standard of quality is being followed

STRUCTURE SUPERVISOR

Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in construction of structural reforms and pipe rocks prior for erection.

Supervise and maneuvering of materials by crane without any accidents, and arranged it in proper designated area.

Responsible also includes, but not limited to plan work determining techniques to be use and training of personnel in operation power construction equipment.

Supervise for execution of erection,fabrication, alignment of pipe rock,plat forms,crossover shelter and hangers of all kinds of pipe support.

Supervise all crew workers in performing of daily task such as riveting, welding,erection, bolting, and chipping using hydraulic tightening machine.

Monitor and coordinates all activities on site for the assembly of structures, columns and frames pipe rocks prior for erection.

Report and attended meeting to the managers for submission of all daily reports

To ensure HSE requirements achieved through conducting daily tool box meeting for all workers MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

Oversee the mechanical maintenance of vessel exchanger and repair damage valves and pipes.

Monitor and analyze major shutdown activities status on daily basis and emphasized to schedule, execute work in central maintenance area.

PIPING HYDRO TEST SUPERVISOR

To ensure that all test package release was distributes correctly to the foreman and giving good instruction, to get the target date to accomplish.

To ensure personnel, equipment and materials required are available and agreed procedure is adhered.

To ensure test pack is compiled in accordance with the procedures and submits to customer representative.

To ensure access, plant and test media are in place.

To identify the lines on Isometric drawing and P&ID and ensure all below pressure in-line instrument has been remove.

To verify the test pressure against the information on the P&ID and ISO drawing, lines and codes and regulation.

To ensure that all joint in piping are accessible during the test and are not insulated, backfield and otherwise covered until satisfactory completion of test.

Supervise at working are during the test duration.

To ensure the test pressure applied to the valve and other pipe lines fittings is not greater than the allowable for these fittings.

Preparation of hydro test packages documents, punch status, punch clearing updates up to reinstatement check report.

To assist site engineer in preparing and submitting Request for Inspection (RFI) and to corporate fully with client staff in completing such inspection.

To ensure that all inspection and test are recorded on the appropriate form of checklist, as indicate on relevant ITP.

Under the instruction of the hydro test manager and commissioning manager I will be responsible for the day to day running of the pre-commissioning operation on location equipment set up operation and maintenance.

To identify non-conformances in the system and implement corrective and preventive action.

Be familiar with significant aspect and impact to the operation; participate in achieving targets and objectives.

Follow the laws and regulation, the subcontractor policies and methods of statement as well as constructor and customer requirements, promote safety environmental awareness.

COMMISSIONING SUPERVISOR

Control, direct and supervise all operators on each unit of the power plant and maintain a log or record of all operation.

Monitor and check the log sheets of CRO and outside operator and initiate correct action in case of deviation noted in the log date from normal condition.

Assist maintenance staffs in inspecting, isolating, and testing of field equipment’s by maintenance and operation personnel as well as solo run test operation of the major piece of equipment after maintenance work, to ensure that the defect of equipment get needed attention to help quicker and efficient trouble shooting.

Supervise start up and commissioning personnel in the lube oil and control oil for flushing the pipe lines.

Control and monitoring operating the condition of the Boiler feed Pump and Condensate Extraction pump, and parameters at control room.

Prepare reports for daily commissioning activities and forward it to the office or commissioning manager for acknowledgement.

Operating all pumps in times of operation and cleaning all suction strainers to stabilize suction and discharge pressure.

To assist chief/senior commissioning engineer for steam blowing operation, to replace target plate as per told and to adjust all drain valves of main stream and cold re-heat steam line to make a non- condensate steam and to control pressure losses.

To conduct hourly monitoring and reading in steam blowing operation, by-pass operation, steam admission and synchronization.

PIPING FOREMAN

Supervises the installation of pipe works for fuel, lubrication and coolant systems, and air conditioning duct work as well as all plumbing works.
