Security Supervisor

The Security Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the Security Department on an assigned shift, in accordance with the Properties established policies, procedures and controls. Act as a representative of the company, interacting with guests and team members in a courteous, professional manner. Implement departmental and property procedures, then train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate Security Officers on assigned shifts. Patrol the property on assigned shift, identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and report same to the appropriate individual, to ensure the safety and protection of guests, team members and the entire facility. Act as a backup to Security Officers on assigned shift and assume their duties when necessary. Update procedure manual and is responsible for the documentation of all information and the maintenance of all statistical reports. May include completing timesheets for Payroll. Work with the Security Manager to maintain adequate staffing levels in the Security Department. Will assist in interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting, and disciplining team members, as needed. Assist in the daily operations of the Security Department. Facilitate the flow of information throughout the Property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings. Will respond to all critical incidents reported on property during shift.
