I have worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 25years .Im an old head who believes in good quality customer service.I have been a supervisor for 15 of those years. I have worked in our accounts, collections, and Tax Law departments.I have set up balance due account, adjusted accounts, and wrote up contracts for the disabled. I worked with financial institution to make sure taxpayers accounts were in good standings while setting up direct debit accounts. I have adjusted accounts taking off penalties and interest and adjusted as required. I worked accounts payable and receiving. I have worked the collections side. I set up tiered contracts, resolved conflicting problems with their accounts, took in payments, verified employment, bank accounts, and credit accounts set up accounts, and adjusted as needed. In Tax law I answered questions about different laws, explained in detail and in laymen terms to where it was understandable to the taxpayer and to my peers. I have also re written some of the laws in our publications and manuals so you could understand them.I have worked every department from accounts to collections to tax law to rewriting the tax law so it would be understandable to the employees and for the tax payer.I also volunteered my time to prepared federal tax returns. I was also a manager for a few years. I love customer service so I decided to go back to the phones during filing season.I have taught new hires employees accounts and balance due and parts of the tax law system.

I also taught my peers as well in small business and Tax Law.I think out the box for different ways to do things. I work very well on my own and in a group. I'm a fast thinker and learner. I'm very customer oriented. I have my bachelors in accounting and writing. I have also taken courses in contract laws and small business. I was also an associate of Junior Achievement. I have taught high school students how to open their own business, promote their products to get them on the open market and sell them. I taught them all aspects of running their own business and the paperwork.I really enjoyed my time teaching them how to become an entrepreneur. I am efficient in working with Microsoft office, Powerpoint, excell. Out of high school I worked for Thunderbird motor freight lines. I did their payroll and accounts receivable and payable all on general logs.

When I first started working for the Internal Revenue Service I stayed seasonal for 8 years that's because I helped my father for 4 months May through August. My father with the help of his church congregation built a retreat for underprivileged children. Boys and Girls Club, children in foster care, all types of kids were welcome. My dad owned property in Nevada City,Nevada/Calif. Up in the mountains. A lodge was built and keoses for the kids were built. These kids would stay there May and June then another group would arrive. I volunteered my time. I cooked, I was a counselor, and a teacher. This was a very gratifying experience. You have to keep a positive attitude and maintain that attitude, empathize, and listen to what the customer needs and wants and get an understanding of what they are calling about.when working customer service.

I am a very fast learner and I work well by myself and with others. I'm a very fast thinker and problem resolver.I enjoy working customer service and giving good quality service.I would an excellent team player for this position.
