Selected Achievements & Experience Detail

Responsible for opening new facility maintenance service division, creating revenue growth from $0 to $14M. Within this capacity, I developed 33 new locations in a two year period, developed new client business, negotiated service agreements, recruited and trained managers and their corresponding teams, and developed efficient location budgets and monthly billing models.

Successfully oversaw regional and division managers at 108 sites in 38 states.

Created visual facilities reports, facility inspections, inventory reviews, and a reporting system that utilized various PC applications to regulate location budgets. Efficiencies and preventative maintenance were greatly improved, resulting in yielded revenues exceeding an additional 8% over goal.

Developed manuals for operations, training, equipment, and materials which resulted in improved internal processes and increase client satisfaction levels and sales, totaling a 15% overall increase.

Retail operations management includes expertise in regional shopping centers, strip centers, box stores, universities, commercial buildings, and mixed use office buildings.

Launched four locations in one 30-day period in new market in Atlanta, GA, resulting in increased profit of 22% which was significantly above the corporate objective.

Created new Shopping Center Division, opening 22 centers in 10 states, recruiting all management and increasing profitability 9% over goal at 24%.

Recruited to assume troubled operations for corporate division which specialized in Higher Educational markets. During this time, I was able to secure four major client contracts resulting in $2M annual sales. Additionally, I was able to improve client relations, reorganize & retrain management, and implement improvement goals which resulted in increased company profit by an average of 15%.

Recruited to start up a Facility Maintenance Division for one Property Management Group. In this role, I grew the division to 108 sites within a record 24 month period. I negotiated all major service contracts, recruited and trained management, developed sales programs, conducted property inspections, and oversaw equipment inventory resulting in a successful division of $88M, which exceeded corporate profitability goals by 6%.

Developed additional service programs for Facility Maintenance Division for construction. During this time, I also developed estimating program fee structures and proposals combined with MP2 Facility Maintenance Software. I trained Site Managers on the identification of potential sales opportunities and created a bonus incentive structure. These efforts resulted in increased sales of $22M annually.
