RESEARCH INTERESTS:

My research interest is in political sociology, social movements, the sociology of health, sport in society and health, physical education & kinesiology: Sports sociology consider the relationship between sports and society. For instance, to what extent do sexism and racism still influence sports careers and the world of sport? As a Sociologist myself I know for sure that there has been remarkable success of women athletes, however, racism has not been totally banished from the playing field. Racism still exists, though in a subtle way. Also, I would like to seek out scientific knowledge from scholarly literature on various aspects of human sexuality.

Pioneer: International Food & Cultural Festival:

Pioneer Famous International Food Festival at SIUC campus from 1994 till now with well receives that has largely attended by the SIUC community and public at large.
