Coordinated with ICAT (Integrated Commissioning and Acceptance Team) during commissioning/start up, gave support for CCR Operation and Field Operation in differing roles such as field work, verifying graphics in DCS, and verify quality of operating procedures for various production/utility units, contributed to ensure safe operation of the Gas plant such as Slug Catcher, Gas Sweetening unit, Turbo Expander, LNG, Sales gas compressor, and LPG Storage Involved to implement of F&G system in the plant, support operation Alarm Management, KPI’s, Weekly Onshore Operations and OR&A Meeting, OR&A Team.

Coaching for Control Room Operator and for new Control Room Supervisor and training the CCR team & familiarize with the Sulphur Plant and Gas Plant operation, unfortunately due to integrity issues with the offshore-onshore pipelines, the projects was putted under Long Term Preservation Plan (LTP) Reason of end of my assignment.

Onshore Process North Liquid Gathering Facilities and Gas Field Control Room Operations (Gas, Condensate and Water). Surpervised and Monitors the Plant and all the field trough Cygnet monitoring System.

Managed test oil, gas, generated operator reports, schedules oil shipments, field to increase the gas production wells with natural flow, and tuning parameters of wells of plunger lift system from CRO Panel.

Managed mini glycol plant of gas dehydration system. ending inventories, competent in CRO and NLGS Operator roles, and capable of filling in for Field Supervisor if necessary.

Shell Exploration & Production (SEPCO), Pinedale WY, USA (May 2008- June 2011):

Senior Field Operator:

Shell E & P Company was responsible for supporting Shell's environmental, safety and production goals through the efficient operation and maintenance of all types of oil/gas/water-producing wells, leases and associated surface production equipment, trucking transportation activities of oily water and condensate from the well facilities to the gathering plant, also was responsible for checking and documenting operating conditions of each location of Pinedale Field.

Shell Venezuela, S.A. MPP (Main Production Platform) Urdaneta’s Offshore West Field, Maracaibo, Venezuela (January 2005- May 2008):

Control Room Operator:

Guaranteed the correct operation of the platform systems and equipment’s. Managed a Distributed Control system. Realized the continuous monitoring of Emergency Shutdown and the Fire and Gas System. Authorized “to take action and inform” In case of emergency, (if needed stopped process and report to superior). Operated the Production Platform (MPP) facilities, meeting the design criteria and the operation procedures. Reported daily production figures. Operated resources as per design criteria and environmental regulations. If required, adjusted controls in manual to prevent unnecessary gas flaring/emissions and reported possible operational conditions causing these events.

Developed screen with historical tendency in PI Process Book, to anticipate well closing, reducing production deferment from 150 bopd to 20 bopd.

Involved in Gas Lift Extension Platform and Gas Sweetening Unit commissioning. Startup procedure: no leaks, safety sequence, starting the two new compressors before the target and in normal parameters.

Shell Venezuela, S.A Maracaibo, Venezuela (June 1997- January 2005):

Lead Technician Specialist Oil and Gas Production:

Perform start/stop functions safely in the Production plants, Fuel Gas Skid, Fuel Gas Compressors, Gas Sweetening Unit (1 and 2), Sulphur Recovery Unit (1 and 2), Sulphur Handling Unit, Utilities and Generation. Handled first line maintenance and make sure all works were performed according to procedures and the permit to work system and ensured that all safety precautions were taken prior to operations. Monitored all Plant Operational parameters and kept continuous supervision of gas monitoring because of H2S.

Checking, improving, and implementing start up procedure for the Main Production Platform and all modules.
