Pro-Tech Kiosk cont., a second business division of Pro-Tech Solutions, Inc. “Pro-Tech Kiosks” (http:// www.protechkiosk.com) is a leading supplier of self-service kiosk for companies such as Subway, Burger King, Avis, Ticketpop, Yankee Stadium, etc. These Kiosks are designed for the unattended outdoor use of computer automated transaction processing (self-service menu ordering, ticket purchasing). Responsibilities consisted of the direct sales, service and filed level technical support of kiosk products throughout the Caribbean, Latin America and the United States. Primarily responsible for the Subway account, Pro-Tech kiosks were successfully deployed in 30 major United States cities as a pilot. Subway is the top-ranked quick-service restaurant chain in the U.S. Deployment activities include: kiosk configuration, installation, integration of the Subway kiosk software, menu configuration (conversion from board ordering to self-service ordering). Assist with the credit/debit card payment process certification with Banco Popular’s Evertec division using Ticketpop’s payment gateway. Menu items conversion from Spanish to English. Configuration and installation of VPN’s, wired and wireless networks, terminate network drops using Cat5 wiring to routers, switches, and access points. The initial Proof of Concept for the nationwide pilot was successfully developed and deployed in Puerto Rico; (Subway Island Development Muñoz Rivera), where I managed the relationship with the local development agency to support the pilot rollout. This pilot continues to run successfully, after two years since its original proof of concept in Puerto Rico. Corporate acceptance and over 24,000 kiosks are expected to be purchased from Pro-Tech for Subway stores world wide. Directly responsible for converting Banco Popular’s Ticketpop division Internet based events ticket ordering and pickup via self-service kiosk from Diebold to Pro-Tech Kiosks. Kiosks deployed to date include the award-winning outdoor quick-serve ticketing kiosk for the process of buying and picking up tickets at Ticketpop kiosks throughout Puerto Rico (www.ticketpop.com). The application and hardware solution earned worldwide recognition at the annual Kioskcom.com show held in Las Vegas in early 2005. Given the success of the Kiosk projects, Banco Popular has chosen to move from their existing kiosk supplier, Diebold, to Pro-Tech Kiosk for its Kiosk hardware applications.

Responsibilities consisted in the development of new business in the areas of systems integration, system automation, systems validation and vendor management.
