My clinical rotations as a student in my Family Nurse Practitioner program spanned across all age groups from newborn through the frail elderly. The specific clinical settings included Pediatrics, Adult Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and GI Specialty Services in both primary care and acute care setting. On a typical day, I co-managed with my preceptors approximately twenty patients a day. Regardless of the setting the clinics were fast paced serving all levels of acuity that included; scheduled level 1,2, and 3 visits, triage phone calls and appointments, telephone follow-up and walk- in patients. I assisted with office procedures including lesion removal by cryosurgery or punch biopsy, cyst removal, and minor suturing, lab procedures and injections. By the completion of each of my rotations I successfully accomplish my goals; providing, independent, safe, efficient, cost effect care and independently managing patients that needed additional follow-up care that included ordering of additional diagnostics/tests, lab interpretation, education, and when needed completed referrals for further medical services.

I have been working with a Chiropractor providing Stem Cell therapy on a part time bases and would like to increase my clinical experience and expand further into this fascinating are of medicine. I have a passion for providing alternative health therapies including IV supplemental therapy.
