Wage Rate: $21.97 per hour
Work Week: Wednesday - Sunday, 35 hours per week
Schedule: 10am- 6pm, with 1-hour unpaid break.
Pay Status: Non-exempt – You are eligible for overtime pay at time and one-half of your corresponding hourly rate after 40 hours of work in any given week. Probation: 120 days: Wednesday, August 30, 2023 through Thursday, December 28, 2023 Background Check Contingency
This offer of employment is contingent on successful clearance of all background checks mandated for your roles, including clearance from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Should you fail to receive clearance, HFH will be required to terminate your employment.
COVID-19 Essential Employee
HFH offers essential services at all times, but especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. As an essential employee, you are required to report for work as needed during this time. Additionally, all HFH employees, as a covered city contractor, MUST provide proof of having received a COVID-19 vaccine. • Full Time
o $14.00 biweekly payment
o $50 initiation fee, which is split into two payments following the first 30 days of employment.
• Part-Time
o $8.50 biweekly payment
o $25 initiation fee, which is split into two payments following the first 30 days of employment.
Benefits (Single Coverage Only)
• Health Benefits – After completing 90 continuous days of employment you will be eligible to enroll in our medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. You will receive plan summaries as part of onboarding. Participation is voluntary.
o Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield (EPO) – Upon enrollment, you will be required to contribute 15% of the premium or approximately $55.82 per pay period. Deductions are pre-tax. August 23, 2023 Terms and Conditions of Employment Cordero, Sandro 2
o Guardian (Dental Guard DHMO) – Upon enrollment, you will be required to contribute 12% of the premium or approximately $1.28 per pay period. Deductions are pre-tax. o VSP – Premium is covered entirely by HFH.
• Paid Leave – You may use certain accrued leave time upon pre-approval. o Vacation leave – You are allotted 15 vacation days (105 hours) per fiscal year, which accrue at a rate of approximately 4.04 hours per pay period. You may not carry a balance of more than 70 hours from one fiscal year to the next. HFH operates on a July 1 fiscal year. Accrued vacation leave may not be used until the completion of your probationary period. o Personal days – You are allotted 3 personal days (21 hours) upon your start date and every year thereafter upon your anniversary date. Personal days are not carried over from one anniversary year to another. Accrued personal days may not be used until the completion of your probationary period.
o Sick Leave – You are allotted 10 sick leave days (70 hours) per fiscal year, which accrue at a rate of approximately 2.69 hours per pay period. Sick leave balances carry across fiscal years. Sick leave may be used as it accrues, regardless of probationary status. o Federal holidays – HFH observes 12 federal holidays: New Years Day, MLK’s Birthday, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

General Conditions
Your employment with HFH is on an at-will basis. This means that you or HFH may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or notice.
