SUMMARY:

As a Linux administrator / Network technical support engineer part of my duties consisted of building Linux servers that scanned all servers on the power nine network. I also worked with the development team assisting and deploy new versions of security software VI modifying script configuration as prescribed by developer’s notes. I also used multiple monitoring software to monitor interfaces, log files and overall health of servers on multiple plans and server farms. Responding to BMC, Netview, Nagios, Tivoli as well as Auto support alerts, to formulate problem determination and devise solutions on server, network, NAS, SAN, points of failures. I also analyzed debugged and conducted investigations, research and developed action plans to whole solutions. I also initiated root cause analysis for trending and wrote knowledge base articles for solution database repositories. I built and deployed and configured servers, rebuilt NSL databases and upgraded OS.
