Vice President of Marketing, Communications, & Business Development - Fios Inc. –Portland, OR (1999 – 2003) Co-founder Fios, a legal services company. Fios developed an eDiscovery SaaS platform and web-based product offering which was the pioneering service and extended into M&A filings. Oversaw all brand development, competitive research and marketing activities including naming the company, designing the logo, product managing the corporate and product websites, and company / product positioning, informational product content, focused media planning and execution. Oversaw all PR / Communications efforts using external agencies. In addition, I developed content (white papers) and lead generation processes (though events) which resulted in the company being considered the premier provider of eDiscovery services by the second year. Developed various vendor and channel partnerships with major law firms and legal service providers nationwide. Company topped 7 million in revenue after the first 18 months. Left to start a new venture in the corporate digital risk space.

Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing – eWarehouse – Portland OR (1996-1998)

eWarehouse provided a secure platform for digital content sales, credit card processing and fraud screening, as well as digital rights management services (DRM). Co-founded the company and directed all marketing and sales efforts worldwide for the eCommerce platform. Evangelized online software and content sales potential to service partners (over 200 signed) The company was sold.

Sr. Director of Product Marketing and Business Development - Portland Software – Portland, OR (1993 – 1996) In charge of Product Marketing, documentation, sales support, and Business Development for a startup specializing in secure digital content encryption tools and commerce services. Initiated and maintained tech / channel partner relationships. Portland Software was a technology startup “Ziplock” was the name of their highly secure digital wrapper technology used in the eCommerce space. The company was sold.

Program Manager / Product Manager – Lotus Development Corp. – Cambridge MA (1984 – 1993) Lotus Development was the leading provider of business software programs such as Lotus 1-2-3 and Lotus Notes. As a Product Manager, oversaw product launch for all non-Windows platforms and technology components including third party tool providers and product/documentation localization for the largest software company in the world at that time. The company was acquired by IBM.
