Maintain employee records and I-9 files. Investigate HR compliance and verify company is up to date with current federal and state employment (i.e. HIPAA) laws. Cross trained in several departments so that I can assist as needed. Gather information for job costing to clients.

·Data Coder as needed, part-time (April 1999 – Present, 16 years.)

Responsible for translating verbatim codes from marketing surveys into quantifiable data units. Consistently relied upon for quick turn around jobs. Formulated code books as needed. Worked both in the office and from home office for 10 years. Continued working as a coder as needed concurrently with my present as assistant office manager.

Carlson Marketing Group, Troy, MI (February 1997 – December 1998, 11 months)

·Data Entry Supervisor – night shift

Managed a data entry division of 20 employees during an evening shift. Assisted in trouble shooting for computer equipment as needed. Responsible for downsizing staff as necessary when workload fluctuated. Began as a data entry temp and was promoted to supervisor based on merit. Employed until I relocated to Annapolis, MD in December, 1998.

GEICO, Fredericksburg, VA (August 1995 – July 1996, 11 months)

·Auto Insurance Service Representative.

Customer Service Representative for auto policies for insurance clients in a call center environment. Updated coverage as needed. Served a multi-state client base. Licensed in Virginia to work as an insurance customer care consultant. Employed until I relocated to Clarkson, MI in July 1996.

Radian, Inc, Quantico, VA (August, 1993 – August 1995, 2 years)

·Junior Technical Writer

Assisted in formulation of technical manual for ground-based weapons department of US Marine Corps. Developed technical manuals for small weapons projects. Collaborated with military and civilian personnel to meet specified requirements by US weapons criterion.
