Professional Accomplishments:

Developed cost accounting system produced an increase in product line gross margins that led to changes in sales strategy and improved market share in European sales. Had to completely rebuild a 20,000-part inventory costing system, reduced to 7,000 parts, from the ground up.

Operational Metrics provided daily/weekly/monthly for Campbell Soup Company’s largest soup plant from data developed within SAP, Mini Miint and Zarpac. Operational efficiency, production downtime, labor utilization and production yields were some of the periodic metrics monitored.

Co-ordinated annual plant wide “Enabler” savings program of $7,500,000. Assisted all departmental representatives in isolating savings projects, developing savings calculations and policing the expected success of each project. Plant met or exceeded planned targets for 3 years running.

Maintained a 99.99% inventory and invoicing accuracy. Helped design and implement, a pre-invoiced picking system for Dutch owned, U.S. based yarn distributer. No out-of-the box software existed at the time.

Produced first breakeven statement of financial activities for museum/aquarium. Came about through stringent cost controls without forfeiture of educational content. Performance continued through next three years of tenure.

Logistics & Planning efforts streamlined by working with various entities to remove efficiency bottlenecks and find alternative solutions for raw materials when supply chain was disrupted by Covid impact.
