EXPERIENCE
11/22-10/23
KROGER GROCERY, CASHIER
Start shift by getting a drawer of cash. Greeting the customer is standard as is ringing up the items, doing coupons, convincing the few people who try to ‘bargain’ with me, or crying about the lost coupons. Clean up the area, empty the cash drawer, and lock up. Achievement: There is a counter in all of the registers to count items per minute. High 20s, pretty good, but I hit 30 once and was number one!
01/21 - 02/22
COMMERCIAL LIQUIDATORS OF AMERICA, OFFICE MANAGER
Responsible for billing, receivables, invoicing, and balancing the sales log with the sales floor. Other duties as assigned. Top achievement: Balancing the left-over merchandise to what the system said we sold and it had never been closer than 2 – 3k off. My recons were 0. I created an example and step-by-step instructions. I also uploaded pictures of sale items and typed the descriptions.
03/15 – PRESENT AS NEEDED
CPA NETWORK
Duties: Assist with tax prep. Review other completed taxes. Completing the less complex taxes. Every month I reconciled the bank statements for 7 small businesses. Additionally, I had an assignment from the VA hospital to research and sort information and scan it into separate folders. Filing, errands, banking. Top Achievement: Creating a system for reconciling a very complicated bank account, saving 30 minutes of the time required.

ACTIVITIES
I have attended many Tony Robbins seminars. I worked on several of them, walking a 6 ft. bed of 1,400-degree coals. I also attended Robbins Research University and am a certified Life Coach and Strategic Interventionist. This has improved my life and the way I deal with other people. My passion was riding and showing my horse for 30 years, but a freak accident ended my riding days. Now I play my guitar and go out to play in a pub on occasion. I am also a writer and graphic artist.
Other industry accounting: automotive, construction, engineering, real estate, and farm.
