My role is to serve as a technology resource and to provide a reloadable, instant issue, prepaid branded debit card solution to facilitate payouts to customers who earn rewards playing the games. This project is currently on hold as the result of lost funding.

Phood was a start-up company engaged in the development of a software platform designed for meal delivery at Universities.
The platform processes meal orders using the student's meal plan funds and assigns a delivery person to pick-up the meal from the restaurant and deliver to the student dormitory.
The application is downloaded onto a phone, tablet, laptop or PC by the student customer.
The delivery person downloads a different app onto a mobile device and receives delivery assignments.
The participating restaurants are integrated to the Phood platform for processing orders.

The two firms have common ownership and were engaged in developing a Staffing Agency payroll solution which is based upon a employee friendly Overdraft Protection solution which will provide high value and low cost for the Staffing Agency employees and save them significant cost as compared to traditional bank accounts, check cashers and payday loan companies, and give them access to partial pay in advance of the scheduled payroll date. These two firms ceased operations in May 2018 as the result of capital depletion.

I rejoined Card Express in December 2012 as a Project Manager.
I was responsible for several projects during this engagement which included: (1) the migration of the company's hardware infrastructure from a data center hosted environment to a cloud based environment, (2) completion of the company's PCI certification after the migration to a cloud based environment,(3) integration with a new sponsor bank, (4) migration from Fiserv to FIS for network gateway access services, (5) conversion of all active accounts from existing sponsor bank BIN to new sponsor bank BIN, (6) implementation of an outsourced customer service partnership, and (7) the re-engineering of the processing platform to incorporate a "fund on demand" (FOD) processing model to replace the traditional prefunded processing model.
Each of these projects mandated a separate Project Plan but because CardEx had limited staff and budget the same resources were utilized for all of them.
The projects were not executed in parallel but were overlapping.
This presented a significant challenge as issues, delays and resource constraints for one project impacted some or all of the other projects mandating frequent revisions to the various Project Plans.
Also, the lead developer for all of these was a 3rd party contractor who could not dedicate 100% of his time to CardEx.
The integration with the new sponsor bank, migration to FIS and the development of FOD required significant coding.
I was responsible for creating the user stories and use cases as well as performing UAT and production verification for the coding changes.
I was also the primary point of contact for the new sponsor bank team and the FIS team.
We met by phone daily to coordinate our efforts and assess and validate the status of the projects.
Project managing this set of projects was extremely challenging because of the company's limited budget and resources coupled with a very aggressive timeline for completion.
