Attention: Human Resources

I am writing this letter for an opportunity to become a valued member of your team. I have the qualifications to fill the position which are described at length in the following resume.

Over the course of my carrier, I have spent many years working with some very interesting companies holding several different roles. I have always given 110% to all the roles I have held.

In my previous role I was the Sales & Operations Manager for Forest Computers in Winnipeg. My main task is to help bring some structure and policies to a company that has been in business for over 25 years. My first task was to restructure the staff. This meant some of the members needed to be replaced with new people with different skills. In order to do this properly I first had to great a salary grid reflecting current rates for technicians in Manitoba and apply it to Forest Computers. The next task is to install an inventory management tool to help control inventory properly (Fishbowl) is the product that the owners preferred. Once this is completed its time to start building new clients while working to maintain the current clients.

In my previous role I was the Business Developer for Apptius Computer Solutions Inc. They are a Microsoft Gold Partner in software design. I was responsible for finding new business only. I accomplished this goal by using my years of experience across many different business groups. I brought in some very large contracts with business manufacturers in new international companies that could last for many years. I was successful enough that a national competitor purchased the company. Prior to this I was the Sales Manager for a company called EcoPoxy. It was a basement company with 3 employees when I started. During the course of the near 5 years that I was there we took EcoPoxy from the basement to a new building with a state-of-the- art lab six offices a showroom and a boardroom. The company went from $100000.00 a year in sales to over 4 million the year I left, shipping internationally. Prior to this position I was employed by Clear Concepts in Winnipeg as a Business Consultant working in the First Nations Communities. This was a challenging role for many reasons but a very enjoyable one as well. In this role I was required to meet monthly sales goals. This is not easy but with steady cold calls to new potential new clients, and great support with existing ones I more than met the requirements monthly. With all the companies I have worked with meeting new clients, cold calls or trade shows I have always delivered a steady stream of new revenue. In the interest of employment equity, I would like you to know that I am an individual of Aboriginal descent with a disability, who takes pride in the excellence of my work. I am a professional, a team player, seeking a challenging and rewarding position. Please contact me to arrange an interview.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Randy Dearborn
