Utilized custom software (Sc03) to perform mechanical integrity evaluations on Negative Poisson Ratio (NPR) impingement plates and multi-walled blades, optimizing stress and temperature profiles.
For aero-engine components (SGT-8000H & SGT-9000HL), boundary conditions were implemented and mesh files were generated using NX, assuring alignment with test results through structural and thermal stress analysis.
Using NPR (Honeycomb structures) technology in the impingement plate model, a considerable 45% decrease in structural and thermal stresses was attained.
Components and assemblies from the SGT-8000H were subjected to stress and thermal evaluations, with the results being compared to test data.
Improved the NPR-based impingement plate model by considering aspect ratio and pimple/dimple radius fluctuations, leading to reduced stresses and temperatures.
Coordinated with different engineering teams, enabled project objectives, and took part in project meetings.
