3/2009-5/2009-Attended 480 hours of Correctional Officer / Law
5/2009-6/2012- Supervised the security, custody, and control of all inmates in the ADOC.
6/2012- Promoted to Sergeant. Supervised shift office and insured all assigned paperwork under my charge was completed and thoroughly reviewed and complied with ADOC regulations (incident reports, Overtime spreadsheets, use of force, discipline reports.) Held disciplinary court against inmates for rule infractions, ranging from smoking to assault of officers.
Delegated paperwork duties to officers in my charge that i felt could handle the duties.
All reports had to be typed and sent to the Warden and other Administration downtown Montgomery of ADOC for review.
Accomplishments: Supervisor of the Quarter twice in one year for catching inmates and officers attempting to bring drugs and cellphones into the prison.
