My job description required me to be in contact with a lot of customers. I worked a lot with people, filling in forms so I gained a lot of typing skills, communication skills and sales experience.

• Worked as preschool teacher at Perseverance Preschool and Day Care Center:

My job description was to help with the fundamental development of small children of ages four to six years old. Teaching them how to read, write, and speak proper English and Afrikaans, talking notes and minutes during parent evenings and meetings.

I have good computer skills and knowledge on webpage design, knowledge on PowerPoint, Excel and Access. I am currently teaching myself coding (Python, Java, JavaScript, and CSS). I have good communication skills and I have knowledge on creating business plans. I am a very organized person and I enjoy being around a clean environment.

ACHIEVEMENTS

I was one of the few students who were honored on the Nelson Mandela Day Back to School for a Day with Adopt a School Foundation, I was awarded with a Volunteer Experience certificate, a Work Experience certificate. I was awarded with three certificates of Merit for Diligence, certificate of Merit for Leadership, a certificate of Merit for First Service which is a sports achievement, certificate of Merit For perseverance, a certificate of Merit for Good Reading Skills, and a certificate of Merit in Mathematics.

INTERESTS AND HOBBIES

I am very interested in interior design, aviation: the structure of an airplane and its functions, how it is operated and its basic controls. I enjoy watching the discovery channel and reading books on aviation mysteries, I sometimes enjoy cooking and I also enjoy doing sports and working out. I enjoy the outdoors, being in the garden and being around animals. I enjoy designing webpages and I have a great interest in computers. I enjoy being around children, helping them grow as individuals. I love being around people, I get along with anyone and I’m an open person, easy to talk to. I am an environmentalist at heart and I try to do my very best to keep my community and surroundings clean. I enjoy public speaking although I sometimes get stage fright but I always pull through.
