To Ensure Women participation in the project of each component.

Activities performed;
Collate baseline data (gender disaggregated) for gender analysis, relevant to the scope and nature of the sub-projects.
Conduct gender-sensitive analysis for ensuring that the differential needs, constraints, capacities and priorities of women and men are understood and addressed.
Participate and conduct stakeholder consultations/limited household surveys in the targeted cities on the challenges and issues faced by both men and women particularly vulnerable groups including elderly, women headed households, minorities, people with disabilities and transgender, to enable informed decision-making during project designing.
Update the gender mainstreaming strategy and gender action framework for the project with a focus on; i) increased women and girls' access to urban spaces; ii) increased women's access to decent employment and economic opportunities; iii) increased women's participation in improving the municipal services both as beneficiaries and as agents of change.
Provide strategic advice and technical support for integrating gender into the project’s policies.
Facilitate the Director Gender / Gender Specialist in implementation of the capacity building program for the EAs and IAs.
Assist in planning and scheduling of KPCIP work plan and identify gender specific aspects and needs in individual sub-projects.
Set priorities and develop as well as implement a clear and comprehensive action plan for gender related activities thereby contributing to the overall work plan.

Activities performed:
Report to the Programme Officer Social Mobilization (POSM) CDLD in the District and shall be responsible for closely coordination with other CDLD staff Rural Infrastructure Engineers, Rural Infrastructure Sub-Engineers and Data Entry Operators.
Village Council Development Plan Preparation/Review:
•Facilitation to VCNC, Tehsil District administration during awareness rising among community about VCDP preparation/annual review process, project selection and implementation mechanism under CDLD in accordance to CDLD revised implementation procedure.
•Collection of Data from the office of assistant Director LGE&RDD about the Secretaries village Neighborhood procedure.
•Ensure close coordination with respective Sectaries VC/NC from their targeted area.
•Pre - Orientation preparation stationary, training, material, certificates, banner etc. of Tehsil level orientation of VC/NC elected and appointed representative on VCDP preparation annual review process.
•Coordination with respective Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) for arrangement for training through POSM.

Formation /Reactivation of CBOs:
•Based on MIS generated VCNC wise merit list from Deputy Commissioner Office coordination with the community through Secretary VCNC to the community of top ranked application hamlet/village for carrying out socio-economies and technical feasibility.
•Based on the feasibility report, facilitation to community during formation reactivation of their community-based organizations.
•Facilitation to CBO during preparation of their social record such as proceeding register, saving register to CBOs, stock register and other record on prescribed CDLD record keeping register.
•Facilitation to CBO during joint account opening process on the title of CBOs
•Facilitation to CBOs during preparation of records for bank account opening such as resolution, approval of CBO by laws from CBO general body, collection of saving, collection of operation and maintained funds, collection of CBOs general body members CNIC registration with Deputy Commissioner Office and bank account opening letter from CDLD Programme focal person through POSM.
•Ensure proper CBO’s record filing both at CBO and office level.
Preparation and approval of Detailed Project Proposals (DPP):
•Facilitation to pool of Engineer during the completion of DPP first portion related to social record resolution of survey committee, resolution of formation of subcommittee, beneficiary list, project location map etc.
•Facilitation to CBO during submission of DPPs to the office of CDLD Programmes focal person District Officer Finance & Planning or Additional Deputy Commissioner.
•Facilitation to Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) members and District Development committee (DDC) during technical sanctions and approval of DPPs.
•Any other task related to preparation of DPPs assigned by POSM or CDLD focal person.
Implementation Support to CBOs:
