Duties: Inspect damaged equipment, coordinate and determine repairs and maintenance by establishing deadlines, determining schedules, evaluating bids from vendors, and approving estimates Evaluate the equipment repaired. Maintain all files for the regulatory bodies. Handle the damaged equipment verification and EIR/POD, and claim the liable party to compensate the repair cost or total loss. Participate in special projects as required, in order to recommend/improve M&R initiatives. Provide pricing of refrigeration parts and to equipment control department for 3rd party trucker invoicing. Process the parts warranty. Work with M&R Manager to do reefer history downloads and report to Terminal Manager, Operations Superintendent, and Quality Control to advise any equipment that may have contributed to QC problem with cargo.

2016.6-2019.: Director of Corporate Technical Support/Warranty in CIMC-IE/CIE in LAX

Duties: As the window of the chassis manufacturer under the CIMC family from China, we are in charge of equipment sales and the after-market warranty. The assembly plant of the Intermodal Equipment in the USA needs the Engineering department, Quality Management System to ensure the products’ quality control, and the Warranty Claim team to handle the claims due to the OEM suppliers, including the improper installation from the oversea production. All the job functions focus on my job title, and I almost worked on the multiple positions by myself ONLY for one year with the limited helps from the oversea plant. All above duties are mainly linked with the chassis warranty claim, repairs, plus some recalls and batch inspection due to the defect parts and improper installations.

2010-2014: M&R specialist in Hanjin Shipping Canada Inc. (HJS)
