This was a specialty job shop where we specialized in one-off fabrication projects. About 60% of the fabrication jobs we did were Stainless or Aluminum. We also did a lot of machine shop pick-up work for local machine shops which consisted of various exotic metals including many different tool steels that required certain pre-heating and cool down procedures. ID and OD build ups for remachining which were done on positioners, including some dissimilar metal overlays, like Aluminum or Silicon Bronze over Mild Steel or Stainless.
