Projects: Trans Bay Transit Terminal/Chase Center (Warrior Stadium) in the Bay Area.

Duties: Work with the main contractor (Webcor/Obayashi), to provide field safety coverage for 600 plus electricians and other trades. Conduct daily relative toolbox talks as well as all hands meetings weekly. Audit and assist with JHAs. Attend daily managers’ and safety personal meetings to discuss work updates, trends and future work scope. Perform daily audits for work performance, jobsite and any present or potential hazards. (Housekeeping, exposed wiring…). Maintaining a safety culture is priority, the use of correct PPE and knowing when and how to use such, means being consistent in making information available and palatable for all trades through literature, corrective communication, and availability of field safety via radio or cell phone. Managing injury prevention techniques proved successful when all above are applied. Perform daily audits of permits for confined space and tools/PPE used to perform high risk tasks that may require barricade or road closure.
