Retired federal employee after 31 years with the Department Of Navy (DON). In my retirement years I’ve traveled the United States in an 18-wheeler with my Over The Road (OTR) domestic partner. When home, I am a domestic engineer taking care of the house.

Purchasing Agent

Department Of Navy, Naval Facilities (NAVFAC), Guam – Santa Rita, Guam October 1997 to September 2017

- Purchase services and/or supplies to meet the requirements of Navy commands, departments, and ships. Purchasing is accomplished via email, internet, and telephone.

- Determine the appropriate procedures to use to purchase service and/or supplies that will fill the requirements, meet the delivery time, obtain the best price, and conforms to acquisition regulations.

- Communicate/interact with commands’, departments’, and ships’ representative, suppliers/vendors, and other government and military personnel/team members.

- Assist with/obtain answers to inquiries via email, in-person, and/or telephone.

- Create and maintain hardcopy and computerized files of all communications, transactions, and other supporting documents.

- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly workspace.

Supply Technician
