My business is run now by 80% client referrals and repeat clients. I have needed to close the business at the beginning of 2023 due to several medical issues that I needed to address. Was promoted to District Manager after 3 years as a sales associate/ independent contractor and captive agent offering health and life insurance to the individual market. Transferred to the State of Wyoming to recruit new agents and grow the territory. Trained over 10 new agents to cover the entire State of Wyoming. For 7 years I was always in the top 10 salesmen in the Country. Responsibilities also included sales budgeting and goal setting for my personal production as well as the agents I had trained.

My first job was a salesman for Orkin Pest Control. This was Straight commission against a weekly draw. I would sell in the door-to-door and cold-call realms. I excelled in sales and was promoted to a Sales Manager.

I wanted to be more hands-on in service, so I continued my education by taking ALL EIGHT pest management exams in one day. The certification exams were a particular strength of mine, scoring well above passing on all eight. Then I moved on to other companies where I could run pest control routes and be more hands-on with services. I went back to work for Orkin Pest control again as a Service Manager for the next three years. My duties included supervision of other technicians, handling customer complaints, hiring new technicians, and covering routes for off-duty technicians.

Worked for various retail and restaurant locations. In most locations I was a commissioned salesman and was promoted into retail/restaurant management. Some of these locations included Footlocker, Bally of Switzerland, Pizza-Hut, and Freshens yogurt. I even sold door-to door for Kirby Vacuums.

College: I earned an associate degree in business management from Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio.

Military: 1983-1986. Served as an Airborne Ranger. Started as a cook, then advanced my training to become an Airborne Ranger

Served in Granada in 1983 rescuing hostages and protecting America from the advancing Russian Nuclear missile threat.
