TYPICAL DAILY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a guest recognition expert. Know the regulars by name and their preferences.

Be quick, attentive, and engaging with everyone that walks through the door.

Welcome and greet guests. Smile. Make eye contact. Make the guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re here to make them as relaxed as possible.

Always be professional, while still maintaining a casual atmosphere.

Know details of the beverage and food menu including craft beer, wine and signature cocktails.

Provide a tour of the menu. Highlight features and suggest specific menu items

Answer questions appropriately. Take orders accurately.

Enter orders in point-of-sale system quickly and accurately

Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.

Constantly maintain a clean bar and environment.

Promote events and other service times

Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, accurately process credit card charges or make change.

Provide appropriate farewells to all guests.

Be a hard working member of the team & be a team player

Perform more than your share of side work at the start and end of each shift.

Clear and clean bar top once guest has finished.

Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes.

Prepare garnishes for drinks

Maintain bottles & glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.

Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.

Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager.

Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.

Live the brand and be a brand ambassador; make decisions in the best interest of the business every time
