Review and control stock levels of vendor managed inventories in storeroom, and in plant.

Report and review slow moving parts, obsolete parts, and supplies inventory. Report any incidence of damaged or unaccounted parts, equipment, or inventory to supervisor.

Return obsolete parts or damaged parts for credit or replacement. Review inventory records and usage of parts and supplies, adjust inventory levels based on usage and ship or transfer to and from other plants and keeping stock at efficient levels.

Prepare packing lists of items or materials to be returned to supplier or sent out for repair rebuilding. Maintain records of Items returned or sent out and adjust inventory records accordingly.

Obtain Preventive Maintenance work orders, and other planned maintenance orders for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance work in SAP-PM system. Identify parts and equipment needed for maintenance, and stage or pre-stage parts, and equipment for the maintenance days.

Purchase and stock shipping materials, packing materials and equipment for the plant.

Create, review and maintain purchase orders, Control spending and budget, for parts, equipment, and supplies needed for production and maintenance of plant.

Check and change pricing on purchase orders and blanket purchase orders as needed in SAP.

Review, check, and receive invoicing received at plant location and sent to accounts payable for processing for payment to vendors, and suppliers. Work with accounts payable to fix or repair purchase orders or invoicing errors and assist in payment of invoices.

Inventory and count aluminum coils and production scrap aluminum inventory twice weekly

Package and ship and receive parts, supplies, and equipment shipped in from UPS and FedEx daily. Assist in arranging emergency transfer or shipment of supplies, parts or materials. Follow up on shipping promises or delayed deliveries.
