Project Description:

The Northern Trust Company is an Investment bank in USA. The project that I worked in this bank is The Nor-AIP-Asset Servicing (AIP) which is a central repository of data about Asset & their Institution & Pricing information which has interface with other subsystems like trade application, feeds to Legacy systems like fund master & IMS and many other applications like PACE, Management Reporting etc. which directly retrieves the data from AIP. Responsibilities:

• Managed central repository interfacing with trade applications, legacy systems and other applications.

This application has been built on Life & Annuity insurance product Wealth Management Accelerator. As part of this, 1.4 million Met Life policies (Annuity, UL & TRAD) are converted to the latest WMA17 version apart from adding the new functionalities. The existing MetLife code is written on WMA10 version. WMA17 has the greatest features over the WMA10 along with the WMA Online System in place of SmartAPP. This is basically a conversion and mod enhancement project.

Responsibilities:

• Life & Annuity Insurance domain knowledge.

• Represent Development team in client discussions along with Business Analyst.

• Experience in performing application enhancements by referring to Business Specification document.

• Experience in the conversion process to convert the Annuity policy data into the WMA17 system.

REDWOOD Debit card load module and Multiple Funds (Nov 2009 – Jul 2010) Debit card load module will keep track the Transactions which are Eligible under the Healthcare Pharmacy products. If the transactions are beyond the Limitations of Healthcare product then we call that as in eligible transaction from the Financial Partner. So, the Healthcare doesn’t respond for those funds. So the financial partners ask the Healthcare Company to replace the funds by collecting it from the customer.

Project 2:

REDWOOD Balance Management (Jun 2009 – Nov 2009)

Redwood Balance Management is used in Health Care Insurance system which acts as a service between Customer who needs of Pharmacy service and Pharmacy Vendor (Third party Vendor to CIGNA Health Care) in form of DEBIT card purchase. Also, it acts in between Bank which provides DEBIT card for the customers and Health care system for the Transaction Details. Project 3:

REDWOOD Consumer Financial Integrator and Consumer Fund Management (May 2008 – June 2009) CFI acts as a financial translator for all applications of REDWOOD transactions. It provides information and details across the cross-module applications in order to keep all Redwood application in sync. It developed along with CFMS which will resemble the Banking and financial partner’s database in order to track all transaction happened between the customer and Bank or Financial partner.

Project 4:

Defined Care Platform (Dec 2006 – Apr 2008)

DCP Payment is a Reimbursement system which Reimburse all Medical and Pharmacy claims belongs to the Health Care Company either by Check cutting or by EFT through Financial Institutions. On a daily basis all the Financial Transactions are recorded in Information and Management system for audit purpose. Monthly reports must be generated and shared the same with the Customers also recorded the same. Handling fall outs of claims due to insufficient data in Event Management and provide the information when the customer raises Queries against their claims and other Information.

Responsibilities:

• Drive architecture roadmap and standard efforts. Provide leadership in all technical aspects of assigned projects, programs and portfolios.

• Architect complex end-to-end solutions across mainframe systems.

• Develop code, create and execute unit and integration tests that thoroughly exercise logic to ensure application functionality and performance as per business requirements.

• New module coding across all the applications of CIGNA Redwood implementation using vanilla mainframe (COBOL, VSAM, JCL and DB2) technologies. Experience in SDLC lifecycle in waterfall.
