University of Texas Arlington, HPC and Networking lab August 2023 - Present Graduate Research Assistant

Implemented enq_deq_qdepth latency exploration and rerouting of the packets using bmv2 programmable switches on the Fabric Testbed platform. (github.com/nagmat1/Routing_enq_deq_depth)

• Responsible for implementation of P4 programs, deployment of the platform on Fabric-Testbed using jupyter notebook.

• Utilizing P4 for the retrieval and modification of queue-related information within network registers, followed by the analysis of the processed data.

• Define standards and processes for the network automation;

• Responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust and scalable network automation architectures and solutions in bmv2 environments;

• Developing automation solutions through the implementation of Docker, involving the deployment of servers as programmable switches using Docker technology.

● Designed a highly scalable programmable network by leveraging server platforms (without switches). This architecture fully automates the processes of configuration generation, checking, pushing, and validation.

● Implemented solutions for network wide configuration backup, change detection and troubleshooting and rerouting procedures

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory - Es.net division.(Intern 3 month) (June-August 2023) Graduate Research Assistant

• Utilized intelligent data analytics in order to identify important flow features which allow us to detect anomalies.

• Leveraged flow data obtained from the ESnet High-touch platform to conduct intelligent subnet identification, subsequently training machine learning models on identified candidate subnets. University of Nevada Reno, HPC and Networking lab August 2023 - May 2023 Graduate Research Assistant

• Implemented In-Network Caching Assisted Error Recovery For File Transfers by exploiting hardware Intel Tofino Programmable switches.

• Responsible for implementation of P4 programs, compilation of the p4 programs and deployment on hardware switches.

• Utilizing P4 for the retrieval and modification of incoming data to function as caches information within network registers, mirroring, followed by the analysis of the processed data.

• Define standards and processes for the network automation;

• Responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust and scalable network automation architectures and solutions in P4 switch(EdgeCore);

• Design and build network automation solution for provisioning and data collection processes;

• Developing automation solutions through the implementation of Docker, involving the deployment of servers as programmable switches using Docker technology.

• Supported day-to-day operation, maintenance of corporate and production networks, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and MPLS platforms

Designed a highly scalable programmable network on Edge-Core DCS800 . This architecture fully automates the processes of caching in the network.

Implemented solutions for network wide configuration backup, change detection, mirroring and troubleshooting Seoul National University, Republic of Korea August 2019 – July, 2021 Network Engineer

• Implemented a data mining project named "leveraging node neighborhoods for bot detection in social graphs" which used Python pandas and matplotlib libraries.

• Implemented FTL (Flash Translation Layer) for SSD storage and Data compression FTL.

• Contributed SSD storage optimization and standardization projects

• Implemented PassSSD: A Ransomware-proof SSD Using Fine-Grained IO Whitelisting on Linux File System by exploiting ebpf technology.
