DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide medications and injections as prescribed by the doctor.
Information Communication and Education to patients on the operative procedure, and possible complications and preventions prior to surgery
Consent signing
Pre-operative and post-operative preparation
Post-surgery bleeding management
Post anesthesia management
Dress wounds and change dressings with correct antiseptic
Information Communication and Education on how to dress wounds and keep them prior to patients discharge
Administer Intravenous Fluids and oxygen, if required.
Monitor vital signs like Blood pressure, Temperature, Pulse, Respiration, oxygen saturations and record it.
Provide frequent patient evaluations including monitoring vital signs and perform essential procedures.
Refer any changes in patient's status or untoward reaction to the doctor.
Monitor,analyze and record urine and stool output
Collect specimens including sputum, stool, and urine and send it for medical analysis to laboratory.
Analyze test results from various departments and record it properly.
