• Received patient into treatment area. Performed and recorded patient observation: vital signs and all other parameters of ESRD patients, obtain blood samples and culture specimens, and prepares for shipment.

• Reviewed dialysis orders, noted general physical and mental condition of patient through observations and interview, and provided data to determine compliance to dietary or medical regimen. Documented observations appropriately.

• Provided chronic hemodialysis therapy: recommended a dialysis plan for ultrafiltration to RN, initiated dialysis via approved accesses, observed all safety measures, monitor patient vital signs applicable to critically ill patients, administer fluid therapy or other appropriate treatments as directed, document activity appropriately.

• Monitored and documented status of vascular accesses, reviewed lab work, patient observations, and requested guidance when levels were out of "normal" range for ESRD patients.

• Observed dialysis machines and RO water system for correct functioning, responded to visual and audible alarms and made appropriate adjustments during and after the dialysis treatment.

• Dismantled, cleaned, and disinfected dialysis machines and equipment according to procedures.
