I am writing to express my interest in joining your company. In reviewing the job description, I am confident that I can be an asset in the task of working with customers and resolving product issues.

I bring many years and variety of experience that allows me to have transferable skills that can be applied to a role within your organization. For example, at All State, I had to handle many clients that were calling from an accident scene in a calm, caring and understanding manner. I worked with them to understand what had happened and offered guidance that allowed them to resolve their crisis and move ahead quickly.

My teaching experience, complements customer service work. The difference is that my customers were the children I taught and who better to teach about customer service than the young of our countries. I learnt to listen well, be clear in my communication and work with the child towards a common goal. This again, would be a great transferable skill to the customer service world.

Lastly, I am interested in customer service because it is aligned to my own personal values around helping others. I believe my strong communication skills, coupled with my flexible and adaptable nature would be great assets for your company.
