FORKLIFT OPERATOR, RYDER SYSTEM
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.
• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify the number of pallets picked as well as stage location.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process.
• Palletize and hand stack product and stretch wrap product as required.
• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Perform picking and packing duties.
• Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required.
• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer.

• Perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self-improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions.

PROCESSING LEAD, NATURALLY FRESH/BAY VALLEY FOODS
• Facilitate daily start up, routine production/processing, and changeover processes for assigned lines and processing systems.
• Assist with the scheduling of personnel to include training, call-outs, and Temporary employees.
• Coordinate reprocess, including maintaining records for reprocess.
• Update and verify the accuracy of the daily production/ processing reports.
• Collect, verify, and file the production/processing checklists.
• Verify production numbers with the warehouse and pack production numbers.
• Assist department in meeting staffing requirements.
• Assist the Supervisor with the implementation of the production plan for the shift.
• Ensure that current production schedule is followed by mixers.
• Manage the indirect material inventory levels to ensure that the demands for pound production are available.
• Follow up with the Quality Control department on hold situations to facilitate the creation and implementation of new procedures into the daily processing routine to prevent future issues.
• Coordinate the maintenance work order process for processing equipment.
• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting and reaching.
• Work in either a refrigerated or unconditioned environment.
• Stay up-to-date on all Computer Based Training (CBT)
• Follow the Company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and Code of Ethics, as well as all material handling, dock and security safety.
• Comprehend and follow verbal instructions, written short correspondence and memos.
• Demonstrated ability to pre-weigh Liquids and Dries, as certified by a supervisor
• Maintain Power Industrial Truck (PIT) license
• Demonstrated ability to operate three(3) systems, as certified by a supervisor
• Provide relief for operators and mixers during breaks or absences as needed.
• Manage recovery of any non-conforming product delivered to warehouse, coordinate reworking back into processing schedule (missing codes, incorrect coding, and any defective incidents).
• Assist in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements to improve processes per the supervisors’ instructions.
• Keep work area clean as per GMP/5S guidelines at all times.
• Participate in projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with all Bay Valley policies and procedures.
• Achieve and/or exceed safety objectives for area of responsibility.
