Duties and Responsibilities
Supervised job interviews and conducted exit surveys to verify compliance with HR best practices.
Assisted managers and supervisors with employee disputes, disciplinary actions and other workplace issues.
Processed paperwork and hiring details for promotions and lateral position changes.
Coordinated new hire onboarding, completing background checks and reference checks to complete screenings.
Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws and standards to new and existing employees
Ensuring new employees hire paper work is completed and processed
Processing the payroll for each month and preparing the pay slips using Sage VIP premier payroll and HRM system
Prepare the annual strategic plan for the human resource department
Addressing any employment relations issues such as work complaints and harassment allegations
Preparing and updating employment records related to transferring, promoting, hiring and terminating
Overseeing the hiring process which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes and performing reference checks
Ensuring that each employee is aware of the code of conduct
Conduct the performance appraisal for each employee annually to ascertain the productivity and satisfaction to ensure that the work place is suitable
Management of leave application and leave reports Coordinating all departmental appraisals and performance reviews for employee
Updating of HR databases and HR systems
Coordination of the Group Life Assurance, NHIMA, Pension, medical scheme and all company compliances
Perform any other duties as required by the HR Department
