•Process mandatory payroll deductions receives court mandated orders and other documentations to process child support, tax levy, bankruptcy, student loans, and other garnishments; creates, maintains, and reconciles deduction files and spreadsheets; processes payments to vendors; prepares and delivers garnishment answers to Magistrate and/or State Courts; and provides information regarding mandatory payroll deduction, payment history reports, etc. to employees as requested.

•Perform personnel duties; research payroll database and other material as necessary to resolve discrepancies or answer inquiries pertaining to payroll; communicates with other departments to educate staff on payroll/personnel policies and procedures; distributes employee communication materials with paychecks/stubs as required; and provides recommendations for resolution to and assists management with technical and administrative issues.

•Maintain computerized payroll database; ensures the security, integrity, and confidentiality of employee payroll records in accordance with the policies of local, state, and federal regulations; updates database with information from time sheets, legal documents, etc.; and verifies changes in salary as reported in payroll audits.
