As a Call Center Representative I received inbound calls and provided outbound call support to various clients with individual Medicare accounts, as well as Dual eligible accounts (Medicare/Medicaid clients). My responsibilities included: Documentation of each customer’s inquiry information into a database, verification of customer’s information, while making corrections and updates as needed, following up with callers as necessary in regards to any discrepancies or primary care physician updates, and using statistical contact center data to make improvements to my performance. I was also a Claims specialist and was responsible for correcting or overriding pharmacy and medical claims. I handled appeals when clients felt necessary, and became proficient with coding and billing information to ensure that providers knew what information needed to be reviewed in order to reprocess and resubmit medical claims. My degree in English helped me with documentation and with my communication skills with specialists and billing department representatives. Through the completion of all of these duties, I was able to obtain a greater amount of knowledge pertaining to children and I learned how important responsibility is. As a tutor I was responsible for helping students understand different subjects. My primary focus was Mathematics, English and science, but I have expressed that I am willing to tutor other subjects. With patience and guidance, I was able to assist and encourage the students in the learning processes. I am certain that these jobs allowed me to acquire many attributes that will be necessary for my future jobs and career.

CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE, TICKETMASTER; PHARR, TX MAY 2019 — JANUARY 2021

My role as a Customer Service Representative consisted of me answering inbound calls, and emails, from customers located in the US and Canada. The position handled various types of requests that required a variety of tasks that included but were not limited to trouble shooting, assisting fans that needed accessible accommodations, completing exchanges and answering any questions that customers had. All of the tasks were completed while working towards a goal of first contact resolution to ensure that that fans had their questions answered or issue resolved during their first call or email interaction. This job was beneficial because it allowed me to make use of my multitasking skills, while always obtaining patience and empathy with every fan. Customer satisfaction was thoroughly enforced, and this expanded my knowledge regarding criteria that is essential when pleasing others with a positive attitude. The usage of technology expanded the amount of programs and softwares that I have been exposed to. CLERK II/CASHIER, TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE AMARILLO PAROLE OFFICE; AMARILLO, TX — NOVEMBER 2017-OCTOBER 2018

Working for the state strengthened my level of dedication and responsibility. I firmly believe that I matured and gained a lot of knowledge from my time working at the parole office. The skills I acquired will guide me through life and also ensure that I succeed at any new challenge or job I take on. My job title was “Clerk II” and although I was in charge of reports, my main focus became cashier duties. I was in charge of handling the payments that the offenders brought in. Math skills were put to use since I had to distribute amounts in the most convenient manner. Some other tasks that were significant included: filing important documents, distributing paperwork to parole officers, informing staff of needed payments, delivering required mail to the post office, ensuring that all mail was completed, documenting any travel that was done by the parole officers, helping the supervisors and also keeping things organized. I learned quickly since the previous clerk took her maternity leave, early. Along with my clerk and cashier duties, I was cross trained so I also became familiar with scanning in paperwork and emailing. When the front desk clerk was out sick, I’d also fill in for her and check in every offender, notify their officer and walk in any guests or state officials. While learning all of these tasks, I was required to answer telephone calls promptly and speak over the intercom. Learning a variety of skills during this job, taught me the important of multi tasking and communication. SALES ASSOCIATE, BCBG MAXAZRIA; AMARILLO, TX — FEBRUARY 2016-JULY 2016 Working for a highly recognized, fashion company helped me with my competitive skills. I also enjoyed helping customers choose clothing that satisfied their wants and needs. With a daily, and monthly goal as well as client goals I worked hard to improve my people skills. I constantly worked on my greetings, questions and of course attitude. Walking in with a positive outlook was always a major key in my success. I enjoyed being a part of the creative process that included organizing clothing and taking pictures that portrayed our stores style.

SACKER/CHECKER/FUEL CLERK/INVENTORY, UNITED SUPERMARKETS; AMARILLO, TX — MAY 2012-JULY 2013

I started off as a sacker which required sacking and taking out our customers groceries while communicating with them. Then I got moved up to a checker position after a month due to my hard work and motivation to prosper in my work place. That required working the cash register, and handling money. After a year I got promoted to service counter, which contains the most responsibility because they handle all of the checks and financial measures. Although I got glimpses of what it would be like, I had to work out in fuel first to ensure my spot since working out in fuel teaches you to be independent. I quit after two months of fuel work because of my unfair pay, and lack of reassurance that I would move up to customer service.
