Clackamas County Disaster Management – Oregon City, OR Public Health COVID Systems Unit Program Manager (9/8/2020 – 6/30/2023) Supporting Public Health and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) response to the emergency declarations recovery of the COVID-19 pandemic and the September 2020 Wildfires.

• PROGRAM OPERATIONS: Manage the customer service deliverables and program operations of the COVID Systems Response Unit including vaccine point-of-distribution clinics, in-home vaccinations, testing sites, school opening and executive order compliance. Identify and implement equitable and appropriate strategies for vaccine distribution and working through community outreach and education with culturally diverse and underserved populations. Lead the September 2020 wildfire recovery efforts working in partnership with FEMA on the coordination of the Fire Resource Centers.

• STAFF SUPERVISION: Recruit, hire, and oversee a 40+ member COVID vaccine distribution and response team, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery of vaccine and testing services through efficient operations and logistics.

• EXTERNAL RELATIONS/COMMUNICATIONS: Work with community-based organizations and partner agencies to operationalize and implement the work, advancing strategies for appropriate program services, outreach and education to various underserved and underrepresented communities and target culturally-specific populations. Work with public information officers to develop public messages regarding COVID-19 prevention and promote vaccine distribution events.
