Rice-Apps – Delivery Service Application

• Collaborated with 3 other students to develop Hedwig, a mobile app food delivery service of on-campus restaurants available to 6,000 Rice students that enabled increased health and safety measures amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Implemented front-end framework utilizing React, HTML, and CSS, as well as back-end framework for Hedwig Application using GraphQL to enable core features including menu ordering, delivery estimates, and employee management. ChatApp – Full Stack Chat Application

Developed ChatApp, a chat application designed for messaging between Rice’s Computer Science student base using Java Spring framework for back-end as well as a Java Swing GUI, with advanced object-oriented design principles.

Allowed for transmission of several data types with maximal flexibility to handle a large student base (750-1000) by implementing an extended visitor design pattern
