Consulted clients in their search for housing in new construction single-family homes, condominiums, and second home/resort properties. In addition, explained the different builder’s/developers models, developments, options and price ranges available. Greet customers on a timely manner as they enter the service drive. Perform a walk around of vehicle to check for damage, tire and wiper wear, and an overall check of vehicle functions. Discuss with customers what their needs are and prepare the Repair Order. Explain the services to be performed and go over in detail the Multi Point Inspection so customers know what is included. Discuss the costs involved with the service and make certain everything that was scheduled maintenance is to be done with customers’ approval. Escort customers to the waiting lounge and explain I will periodically check in with them as to the status of their vehicle. Upon receiving the completed Multi Point Inspection from the Service Technician, I meet with the customer and explain the report and add any needed repairs that they approve. At the end of the service, I escort the customer to the Cashier for payment of services and take them to their car to leave. I follow up with the customer within a day to make certain the car was functioning properly and that they were satisfied with the services performed. One to two days a week I would assist in the BDC Department calling customers regarding their experience at the dealership, making sure they were satisfied with the service, plus make appointments for further service and recalls that were available to be performed.

In addition to the above duties, I also work as a Drive Lane Assistant when not performing write up duties. This includes assisting other Service Advisors, vacuuming vehicles, cleaning floor mats and taking the car through the car wash and delivering them to the attending technician; making sure they understood the work order. I also make certain that the service-lane is cleaned; swept/washed down and supplied with appropriate supplies. I clean and supply the waiting area with snacks and drinks, wiping tables and making sure a Covid-19 wipe down is completed 2-3 times a day. Our department fielded 50-90 cars per day.
