Personal Statement

A highly motivated and hardworking individual, completed my postgraduate education from one of the well-renowned institutes of the world worked on Labelling of anti-tumor and anti-biotic compounds by radioisotopes (I-121 and Tc-99m).

Besides, I am experienced in Biological Evaluation of various drugs for the cure of multiple diseases specifically cancer/infections and/ or inflammations.

It s my perception that current studies should be included into low level students in a very basic way so that they always get acquainted with current developments.

Research Fellow

Worked on Development of Antitumor and antibiotic drugs and their labelling with radioisotopes for Diagnosis and Treatment. In this work, experiments have been done to label organic and synthesized probes as well their characterization performed by using Gama counter, Electrophoresis and Radio HPLC. Further invitro and invivo studies have been performed on Radiolabelled probs.

Master Thesis

“Development and biological evaluation of some selected 99mTc labeled anticancer probs”

Research and development carried out by synthesizing two radiolabeled compounds; 177Lu-5-flourouracil and 99mTc-thiosemicarbazide. After performing experiments for quality controlling of 177Lu-5-flourouracil injected in mice to evaluate Biodistribution, which shows better accumulation in liver, lungs and brain while in case of Scintigraphy stomach, kidney and heart are the area of higher accumulation indicates uses as a therapeutic agent. Similar experiments are performed on Thiosemicarbazide after labeling with 99mTc radioisotopes, which gives effective radiochemical purity and labeling efficiency. Biodistribution studies indicated higher accumulation in liver, lungs and heart, further used as a tracing agent.
