Inspected 40-plus hazardous waste generation facilities per year. Wrote related hazardous waste inspection reports. Used inspection reports to track facility returns to full compliance.

As a member of the Hazardous Waste Training Team, developed a one-day hazardous waste management training course for businesses. More than nine hundred owners, managers, and employees a year took this course, which ran for five years, in Olympia, Seattle, Spokane, Vancouver, and Yakima.

Co-wrote, edited, proofread, and published the 88-page Hazardous Waste Training Handbook, in collaboration with five fellow subject matter experts/trainers. Laid out and managed publication of the document by converting text and graphics from multiple formats into a single PDF document.

Developed the most complex training module on hazardous waste designation—identifying hazardous waste constituents and assigning them appropriate handling and treatment codes. Taught the module as a tabletop designation exercise, using participants’ specific waste information. Received highest ratings from workshop attenders on the value and clarity of the module.
