SUMMARY
After completing MBBS from government medical college, Calicut, India, I worked as a medical doctor in DMWIMS, Wayanad. After that, as a Pediatric PG at Sagar hospitals, I have been managing all major and minor pediatric cases assisting reputed doctors in the state. Hands-on skills include diagnosis and management, IV line and arterial line insertion, umbilical artery and vein catheterization, lumbar puncture, urinary catheter insertion, bone marrow aspiration, ascitic fluid tapping, tracheal intubation, minor suturing, injections (IM, IV, SC, ID), collagen dressing, and vaccinations. Further, I had also assisted central line and peritoneal catheter insertions, ICD placements, and tracheostomy. As per calendar schedules, I was also regularly posted in both pediatric and neonatal ICUs. Apart from in-house hospital responsibilities, I was part of conducting medical camps in schools, screening programs, delivering public medical awareness classes, and medical services to tribal communities.
Post completion of my PG, I worked as a pediatric specialist/registrar in Vikram hospital at Miller’s road, Bangalore for 6 months. Thereafter, I relocated to my native and joined Aster Wayanad/DMWIMS hospital and medical college (now DMMC) as a
