• Qualification of Welding Procedure Specifications / Welders & Operators with suitable De- sign & Quality requirements as per ASME, API, AWS D1.1 and applicable project specifica- tions.

• Preparing weekly & monthly site inspection report covering all scope & categories versus progress and highlighting the area of concerns for submitting to higher level signatories and Client designates.

• Subcontractor Management – NDT, Lab tests

• Direction of Quality objectives by historical performances & progressive evaluations with measurable potential KPIs for ensuring effective implementation of QMS & QAPs.

• Represents the Project during Quality Assurance audits conducted by the Client manage- ment, or Certification agencies and Coordinate the issue of non-conformance reports by evaluating the errors and deviations.

• Custodian of QC instruments by periodically validating calibration and mechanical dam- ages. Verifying calibration certificates for welding machine, electrode ovens / Quivers and other measuring instruments and carry out the in-house calibrations.

• Review of drawings for the code compliance & viable execution without fails in quality.

• Preparation / Review of Test packages - successful execution of Hydro - Pneumatic & Functional Tests and reporting.

• Ensure workforce have mandatory HSE Training requirements. Identify hazards and con- trols during the visits and inspection at sites and Ensure safety arrangements are in place during test and inspection.

• Liaise with other Departments, Providing technical notions & timely support to Marketing, Estimation & Tendering, Project Management & Planning, Procurement & Stores and Pro- duction departments.
