RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out All Necessary Derrick Man program.

• keep in view about all Derrick Hand work and systems and he maintain them and clear the Job related to them.

• Align pipes and secure its foundation and connection to the other pipes.

• Set up pipes and transporting drills and service rigs on the lower deck or under land surface.

• Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions, pumps and drilling mud systems, and mix mud chemicals, cements and additives

• Read gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and concentration and adjust pumping procedure as required.

• Calculate the dense and volumes of oil and mud

• Recording mud density and volumes

• Hold cooperates morning meeting, safety meeting, HSE meeting pre jobs Safety.

• Keep all tool in notice and always checking out all the equipment Like Casings and their sizes, pipes and their size and Drill collar and its size and all Things to assist Roughnecks in Operating and be kept in mind that which thing is need and of which size needed as per seniors Ideas.

• Preparing for Rig move and performing rig move process.

• Ensure that crewmembers understand exactly their duties when carrying out job.

• Anticipate hazardous condition and Equipment Major Fault, inform Tool pusher and Chief Mechanic remove the cause of possible problems.

• Assists with rig startup on a new drilling site, performing bottom hole assembly tasks.

• Watch out Solid Control Systems Including Mud Pumps and Maintain them In a Good Order If Problem Happen then solve it.

• Performs regular inspections or drilling systems and drilling equipment, completing repairs and general maintenance as required.

• Manipulates slip-joint equipment, including riser tensioners, choke and kill line jumper hoses. EXPERINCE ON DRILLING RIGS
