A.Operation &Supply Chain
Contract Agreement: drafting, negotiating and managing complex customer and vendor contracts and proposals for the Company, while ensuring best practices and processes are simple, compliant and adhered to. Interact closely with legal and business partners at all levels in multiple locations, and reports directly to Management.
Vendor Development: Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms, etc. Overseeing follow-up with vendors for engineering deliverables, timely deliveries and quality checks, thereby ensuring timely payments.
Sourcing / Materials Management: Identifying and developing potential vendors locally & globally for the right sourcing, achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials eliminating production bottlenecks. Planning, organizing and controlling all requisite activities to perform such as techno – commercial evaluation, negotiation, recommendation, ordering, inspection, expediting & tracking, reporting, delivery, payment processing, etc.
Material Planning (MRP): Practicing the various techniques of aggregate planning, contractual planning, consumption-based planning, project planning etc., enhancing the process-flow with ensuring the right material on time, thereby balancing the demand and supply formula.
Inventory Control: Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met as per organizational guidelines. Managing operations and ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering the operations. Designing strategies for indigenizing products thus saving cost and revenue for the company. Updating the higher management with current status, furnishing the periodic reports, forecasting for the optimizing inventory level. Practicing the techniques like JIT / KANBAN, reorder level/reorder point, maintaining the minimum /safety inventory level, in day-to-day operation.
B. Production Operations
Production Planning & Control: Coordinating with the other departments such as quality control, engineering, stores, materials, etc. for smooth functioning and accomplishing production as per customers’ requirement & organizational guidelines.
Production: Supervising production related tasks including planning, control & troubleshooting, etc. for achieving the planned periodic schedules and process control. Monitoring the production status, procedures and systems followed in production to ensure compliance norms with desired quality and timely delivery of orders.
