I was the Business Development Manager for Cabinet Outlet. We opened our doors in January 2021 during Covid. I produced $1.5 mil. the first year of business and in 2022 had an increase of $186 K. I have been influential in the marketing & networking aspect of Cabinet Outlet. This marketing aspect helped to get our name out and by adding my face to the billboards and my name on the radio, it helped bring the personal touch as well. We were also on tv for advertising. Being from Owensboro and being in the public my entire life, I know a lot of people. I attend Rooster Booster monthly, Home Builders meetings & I am involved in a group “ Network Owensboro”. I was “selling” my company all day every day even though I was not the owner. I enjoy working with people and customer service is very important to me. I also encouraged the owner to allow me to host the first Home Builders meeting 2 months after we opened, during Covid and to have it catered. We had at least 50 builders in attendance & gave a presentation on building a cabinet so that they could use that for continued education hours. It was a successful evening and a great way to introduce others to our business. I am motivated and extremely driven. Every position that I have ever had, I work like it is my own business. I am the only salesperson at the store other than the owner who also has another business in Henderson Ky. I work hard to gain confidence in not only my employer but also my customers. Several of my customers become like family at times because we invest so much time together designing their kitchens or bathrooms. I am driven for success in all that I do. I am honest, dependable and very resourceful. I am self-motivated and always thinking of the next thing to do to make us move to the next level. Store Manager's role is the Hiring & training of employees. Making out weekly schedules at least 3 weeks in advance. Ordering of all supplies, food etc. putting stock out. Cooking food, waiting on customers. Making out schedules, keeping parking lot cleaned as well as entire store cleaned & organized. Inventory monthly. Fill ATM daily. Take care of filling lottery tickets. Make deposits. Giving employee reviews, interviews, firing employees. Getting prepared for store audits and companywide audits conducted by the owners of the company as well as representatives from various vendors in which we represented in our stores.
